Worms

So I have a 1 year old pet goose who I think may have gotten worms from my cats. It's the only thing I can think of because he likes to clean the bottom of our shoes. The thing is, the only symptom he has is diarhea that started last night. Any ideas? What wormer should I use? Also, he just started loosing feathers all the sudden as well. He's been molting a bit but just his downy feathers. Now in the past 24 hours, he has started loosing bigger wing feathers. He's an indoor pet goose and he is quite spoiled. I love him to bits and want him healthy. Thank you

Your vet could do a fecal float to look for the different types of worms. Or you could use Valbazen or Safeguard liquid goat wormer or equine paste. Here is the dosage for Valbazen:

SafeGuard dosage is 0.23 ml per pound given orally for 5 consecutive days.
