I have had my chicks for about four hours. They seem really lively - eating, drinking, thought all was well. We put brown paper down for them on the brooder floor and can see worms in some of the poops, curled, whitish worms. The worms don't move (which I have seen with dogs & their worms...)
My DD is upset and says we should "seek immediate medical attention."
Should I call the hatchery? Call the vet? Call on my expert friends at BYC????

If they're not moving they're probably not worms I have parakeets and they have little white things in they're poo and I'm not worried because the white things are not moving. I guess the whits stuff comes out of every bird!

It could be worms.... do you have any pics of them? That would certainly help. I'm sure someone will come along with an answer and treatment idea for you soon.
