    Hi everyone!
I just received my very first chicks today! I'm might just be a worried new parent, but one seems to have a protruding navel. Is this normal? [IMG]

Sometimes a chick's navel will not fully heal before it hatches. Just leave the chick's navel alone (and see that the other chicks leave it alone) and it will eventually fall off. As long as the chick is acting normal don't be concerned. Hope you have good success with your first chicks!

Xs 2, it actually looks to me like a little hard dried cord leftover and that will fall off eventually.
