I just got a brood of mixed chicks earlier this week. One of them is a Light Brahma who just isn't quite right. She's got 2 fused toes on each foot, she sleeps a lot more than the other chicks, and though she's been eating and drinking, she showed no interest in the hard-boiled egg that I just gave to everyone.

Should I try doing anything special with her? I've seen people mention sugar water and electrolyte formula... In what amounts would I use if I tried that? I only have Pedialyte freezer pops on hand, but they can easily be thawed out and warmed up...

    Thanks in advance!

Try treating her for coccidia with Corid (from TSC) 1 teaspoon to a chick water is what i use, for 5 days. Also the pedialite would be good.

Thanks... [IMG] I'll look into the Corid tomorrow. I gave her some pedialyte and she did drink it. She is on medicated chick starter. Will it hurt her to use Corid at the same time?
