I looked up the codes and know I'm allowed to have chickens. But now I'm worried about the noise ordinance. We aren't allowed to have the ice cream truck in my town because of the noise ordinance. Nobody has complained yet. But we got a new neighbor in the house closest to my chicken co-op. I haven't met them yet. I'm a little afraid to. I have 2 roosters that start crowing around 6 am.

Does your local ordinance specify that roosters are ok? Mine says chickens are fine, but roosters are forbidden. And the noise ordinance is always going to take precedence, just as it does with dogs (you can have them, but if you let them bark and someone complains, then you have a problem).
