Does that make any sense? Like where our chin would be, but the back, underneath of his beak, but before his neck/throat begins. It is like there is something in his mouth or under his tongue, but nothing is visible.... what do you think it could be? thx in advance, jenn [IMG]

He could have been stung by a bee somewhere around his mouth. Is he shaking his head or anything that tells you he's bothered by it?

I had a goose stung by a bee near his bill, and his chin swelled almost in that same area. He shook his head a lot for a day or two, then he was fine.

I agree about possible sting. Especially if there is a lot of clover or other flowering plants about.
My vet said don't worry too bad about bee stings, Jesse had gotten one. He said his pilgrims get them commonly.

I am sorry he is hurt, I would wait a few days to see if the swelling has gone down.
