Ok so I was candling some eggs as they had been in he incubator for one week. I didn't know this but my cat was in the room with me while I was doing this and proceeded to rub on an egg lightly while I was candling..this may be a stupid question but, will that affect the egg? I guess I'm just paranoid but I want to be sure that the cat hair won't hurt its growth lol

I'm sure your egg will be fine, try not worry. The hens final job when laying an egg is to add bloom to the egg that protects it against bacteria getting inside.

Good luck with your incubation, I hope you have a great hatch :thumbsup
