We can do a 40 mile round trip for adult food but not the crumb or grower - if our good friends Amazon or Ebay dont pony up with the goods, we have nowhere to go. Hence the adaptions.
We couldnt get layer pellets for our girls for ages either so managed to grab a bag of specialist water fowl feed - celebrations all round !!
Until they refused to eat it - you can actually feel the waves of disappointment when you get the bag out. Even the geese won't touch it and they are like dustbins.
Good news is, the pig loves it (and his pig nuts are late, including his back up bag).
Always a silver lining.

Normal coloring, normal shape, everything! It was ABSOLUTELY the layer feed that was giving him trouble. Thank you both so much for your support during this anxiety inducing time for my partner and I! We really, really appreciate it!
