Hello! My strongest, bravest chicken stared limping her right leg a few days ago. I don't know if there's a connection but the left side of her body has decent feathers and looks beautiful but the right side is missing feathers and looks generally poorly... You'd think it's a different chicken when looking from different sides. I only found this wonderful page yesterday so I'm new here with my flock - what do I need to do to be able to post photos?? I'm told I don't have permission to post photos. After all the posing she did for the photos...

You should be able to post pics by now after having posted a few times. How old is she? Has she gone through a molt recently? Check her skin all over and under her vent for the presence of mites or lice and their eggs. She may be getting feathers picked by the other chickens. How much protein is in your feed? They require 16-20% in a balanced ration, or they might eat feathers. A lack of room, boredom, and not getting outside to roam may also cause feather pecking. If she has bare spots, you can apply some Nustock cream or BluKote spray to hide her bare spots. The BluKote stains dark blue, but wears off eventually.
