Hi there. We are about 5 weeks into our chicken adventure, and loving it, but I have growing suspicion that the biggest of our ladies, well, isn't one. Susquehanna has always been the biggest chick, by far the quickest to feather, and appears to be the ruler of the roost for the most part- but has also developed a much larger, redder comb and wattles than the rest of the flock.
Here are some pics, of both Sussie and her flock mate, Mesquakie.
Any advice would be lovely. I know it is still early, but I want to make sure I have a plan for "her", as I would be unable to keep a roo.
Thanks so much!
