Would This Be ok for them?

Over the Christmas weekend my niece made some gingerbread cookies and no one has eaten them. I don't like gingerbread cookies and I was wondering if if would hurt my chickens if I thew it out for them. I don't want to waste the cookies and I don't want to feed them anything that may harm them so I thought I could ask if it was o.k here, just to be safe

I would not give them a whole bunch at once.... spread them out over a few days/weeks

when I have cookies the kids wont eat i will toss a few out to the chickens but be careful not to overload them with sugar

Thanks for the info. I'm sure they will like the new taste. They go after anything that hits the ground. I hope the cookies don't make them too hyper
