I'm hoping its ok to post this here in the "random Ramblings"

I want to be somewhat different, even though im sure people do this but i want to sell a dozen of fertile colored egg layer breeds!

For example: 4 olive egger, 4 EE, 4 black copper maran. And try to keep the dozen as colorful as possible! Maybe next dozen could be
    4 EE, 4 welsummer, 4 leghorn.

I would probably sell these for 36$ a dozen just because YOU would now have 4 different breeds that will lay beauitful eggs for you in the future and increase your sales as eggs or chicks or pullets in the future!

Please give me feed back and let me know?
would you buy this colorful egg basket?

Theoretically (read: if I had the space or time for more birds), I would definitely buy your colorful dozen.

This is definitely an excellent idea. Surveys are showing that it's not just demand for high production laying breeds on the rise right now - it's demand for colored egg layers. Blue-Eggers, Olive-Eggers, Green-Eggers, and Chocolate-Eggers are the new big thing and it's a great time to start selling them. You should have great luck.

I'm located in Kansas. I don't have an incubator right now but may consider getting one.

My only problem is that I can't have roosters, but I could probably trade or rehome them. I've heard that about half are roosters, is that correct?
