I'll start with the bad. My red heeler killed and ate my Dark Cornish roo this morning. UGH! Looks like he gets a lesson in killing chickens, Bammony style!

The good news is......I got my first ever silkie egg today!!!!! I am on cloud 9 right now! I can't stop smiling! This is so me right now------>[IMG]

More bad news. Our cat was by the engine of our truck when i started it just a few minutes ago and got tore up really bad.

Even more bad news.....I just crushed the silkie egg in my hoodie pocket. [IMG]

The good news is by far making up for all of the bad news put together. [IMG]

Thank goodness he wasn't IN the engine. One of our cats did that last year, and we had to have the poor girl put down. [IMG]

But congratulations on your silkie egg!

Well, sounds like a not-boring day in progress. I've been reduced to cleaning the house.

Will the next silkie egg get popped into the 'bator?

Bad things come in 3's, and it sounds like you're done, so enjoy the rest of your day!

Quote:Buster has my bator and I don't think he feels up to it right now anyways. I wish though! I'd love to have some of my lil silkie babies hatch out. The hen laying is a splash covered by my cuckoo roo. I'm still doin the dance! [IMG]

Congrats on your first egg. I've learned to never put eggs in my pockets.
