This is what my wonderful neighbor dropped off HOLY COW!

A huge brooder.

I already put the heat parts in the shed to get them out of the rain even though he said they had gotten rained on.





I think this is how it should look like.

That's a perfectly wonderful brooder! Are you going to fill it full of dozens and dozens of chicks?

Chicks in brooders such as that grow up to be wonderfully tame and friendly, you realize. They won't have hands constantly "diving" down at them from above like so many chicks in small, top access brooders have to suffer from.

Wow! Your neighbor just dropped that off?!?!?! My neighbors drop off jelly, or produce. One of them even gifted me with 4 lovely hens, but I guess I'll have to wait a bit longer for them to bring over a giant brooder

Guess he had a big auction last year after his wife got sick and the person who won this never came and got it.
