Wound or molting

Noticed that one of our EEs is missing feathers on her neck. It wasn’t like this last night so happened this morning. Is this a wound or normal molting?
Also, do I need to do anything other than keep an eye on it?

The chicks are just out for the day. Their brooder is in my shop so it wasn’t a predator.

Well, it's in it's first juvenile molt.....new feathers pushing out down.
But I see no pin feathers there.
They may be being picked out by hatch mates,
or it might be rubbing them off on edge of a feeder or wire mesh.

A chick that age would not be molting. If there is no skin damage it is nothing to worry about. I would watch for bullying.
