I must say, so far I am very happy and so glad I chose Rhose Island Reds ! They are wonderful chickens and have a great personality ! I recommend them to anyone !

I have loved both my hatchery RIRs as well as my big breeder stock RIRs. Great girls, aren't they?

I have one RIR hen, and she is full of personality and a great layer. I will agree with you, and glad you are enjoying yours!

My hatchery RIR's are adventurous and friendly. Excellent layers that forage and hold their own. The only potential problem was when introducing new birds. The Reds not only made sure of pecking order they'd actually grab on and ride the new birds. They're a bit rough with new birds yet people friendly and don't mind being picked up by 5 year olds.
