WOWWY WOW! killed a snake

well tonight when i was locking up the coop for the night (double checked everything too) and right before i turned out the light, i saw a snake :O it was huge!!! longer then i am tall! O.O
i got my brother's BB gun and shot it in the head
then it accured to me that it mighht have babies or something. then i felt bad.

Perhaps the thought of it's little baby snakes might grow up and make a meal out of your chickens & egg's will change your mind.

What kind of snake is this? I haven't ever heard of it. We live in Michigan....where are you?

i have no idea. we have a creek in the back so im guessing a water snake? and SW Indiana
