I have a double yolker, (as I call them). The wrinkles comes from when a hen lays 2 eggs and they form in different shells. One shell bumps against the other in the oviduct and cracks it. The shell is healed before it is laid. I have only had one but the same hen is notorious for for laying double yolkers. It's like fraternal twins instead of identical....[IMG] In your case my guess is that she still laid 2 eggs that day, but one was from the day before or she laid triplets.... [IMG]
