Wrinkled Egg

About a month ago, I picked out a wrinkled egg. It was about the regular size, shell was hard, but just was wrinkled is the best way to describe it. Why does this happen?? It has only happened one time. Any ideas?

It could be what they call a "body-checked egg" the biggest factor seems to be age, know my old ones lay them fairly often. http://www.thepoultrysite.com/publications/1/egg-quality-handbook/20/bodychecked-eggs They are usually normal inside and perfectly fine to eat.

Thsnk you this vhicken is about a year old so that may be a factor
