So yeah. Got another quail hen with mysterious symptoms. I don't know what Wry neck looks like, but it sure looks like it from the pictures I've seen. She stands in one spot with her neck outstretched and tilted to the side. Came upon her quite suddenly - she was normal yesterday. What can I do with her, or am I better off culling her? The poor dear :(

That doesn't sound like wry neck to me. Wry neck doesn't show only sometimes. It's kind of like the quail version of hunchback.

What are you feeding them?
I'm feeding them a locally made game bird crumble. Do you think it could be something in the feed?

And aaaah, I see regarding Hunchback/wry neck! Thank you!

I just emailed the company for the nutritional label. I bought the crumble back in December and couldn't get anything in smaller amounts than a 50# bag. I keep it in a plastic garbage bin. I hope it's not going bad on me :(
If you're keeping it an airtight container like that, it should be fine. I'm more concerned that it's lacking some nutrient that she needs.
