I would like to start breeding my ladies and am looking to cross a Cochin to create a good winter-laying, cold hardy, and docile hen. I also need a roo that won't attack my wee people, cat, and dog. I love the look of the Golden Laced version, but would consider other Cochin Variations. I don't want to drive too far, I am located on Whidbey Island in WA.
