If you have or know someone that raises Blue Ameraucana's (Large Fowl)
Please let me know.
I have some, but they aren't laying yet.
Some of mine came from Pips&Peeps. Hers are gorgeous and she was great to work with. I would totally get eggs from her again.
I need a rooster only. Got 6 Self-Blue hens
how old are yours? Do you have extra roo's
Confusion...self-blue, or blue? Two differenet things...
Did you try asking on the club site. You still can post a question until Jan 1st when it becomes members only can post.
If your hens are common blues you can use a black male or splash male also. If your hens are self blue you can also use a black male but all the chicks will be black split lavender. There are several breeders in the Florida area you may be able to contact. Check the breeders listings also on the club site. Good luck, plus someone(BLackbird12 in the category 8 weeks or older for sale) has some black trios on here also for sale but they would have to be shipped since they are from another state.
My advatar is a self blue(lavender) which you can see what shade they are suppose to be in case you have a common blue.
Quote:I was the one confused. The Girls are Self-Blue large fowl
I was at Pips and Peeps this summer to pick up some geese, and her chickens are gorgeous! Her facility is clean, and the birds are well cared for. If I were looking for some self-blues, I wouldn't hesitate to buy from her.
Aren't self blues the same thing as Lavender?
Quote:I am in North West Georgia and I have a extra self blue(Lavender) roo and a blue roo.PM me and I am sure we can work something out.
