Quote:Hi.

Sorry you lost your cuckoos! I wish I had known sooner because my cuckoo pen was laying up a storm. I wasn't collecting because I didn't list any for sale and my hens, of course, went broody on me. The eggs have started hatching and I already have at least 5 cuckoo chicks, ranging in colors from the regular dark cuckoo to a pale lavender cuckoo. They really are beautiful. If you're interested in chicks, send me a pm and let me know. They can be shipped as long as I have a two day window of decent weather. Also, I have a friend going to NH in a week or two. Maybe I can have her bring the chicks with her and you could pick up from there. But, I have to check to see how she is traveling and if she'd mind. (Not everyone love chickens as us BYCers do!) I sell chicks (not yet feathered out) for $6.50 each and feathered out chicks for $10 each. Let me know if you'd be interested. Thanks!

What part of NH is your friend going to? I would be interested if she is willing I would do that or let me know when they start laying again and I will get some. What would you sell a doz for?

Quote:I will check with her and find out where in NH she'll be going. I sell the cuckoo silkie eggs by the half dozen and they are $25 which includes shipping. Thanks and have a great day!

Quote:Hello again! My friend said she would be happy to bring the chicks to NH when she goes. She just needs to verify that it will be ok with the friend with whom she is sharing a ride. They are going to a wedding the 2nd week in July. My cuckoo girls just hatched out three more cuckoo chicks! So adorable!
