Does anyone know of folks in the Amarillo-Clovis-Portales-Fort Sumner-Santa Rosa-Las Vegas-Tucumcari area who are raising White Leghorn pullets that will be ready to lay this fall or early winter?

Cooperative Extension recommends White Leghorns as a thrifty, hardy breed for our backyard flock in Conchas Dam, so we would like to replace our old non-layers with about 8 to 12 White Leghorn pullets.

Any leads would be so much appreciated!

I do have white leghorn hatching eggs if you decide you want to hatch. Yes, white leghorns are just great layers. We have some customers who only want to buy white eggs , no our brown eggs, green, blue, etc, so we keep a grouping just for them. Thanks and hope you find what you need. Nancy
