I've been wanting to ship some eggs and see how my packing works. I have a large flock of purebred but they do run together. The eggs would mostly be mixed but there's always a chance for a pure here and there. The Marans roo is top dog but I know he can't keep an eye on all the girls.

Some are hatchery and some are from BYCers that I hatched last year.

I make baskets--but I never have any because I sell them all. This one has a broken rib--so I get to keep it! It's a great egg collecting basket!

Sorry this is off topic, but I would love to buy an egg basket from you! How cute would it be to send my son out to collect eggs with a basket! (he would be pretty upset if he knew I used the word "cute" in a sentence with him involved!)

That one in the picture is a 12" and I usually sell those for $55.00.
I make them in different sizes down to a 3"--it's big enough for 1 egg or makes a really cute tree ornament!
