Wyandotte?? Male or Female . . ?

Hi there

I have a very unusual bird . . it was meant to be a cross between a silver laced and golden laced wyandotte . . . but please don't pull me up on that, I'm only going on what I was told.

The breeder said that it was so small, that it probably wouldn't survive - so I took it home and gave it plenty of TLC.

I placed some pics about 2 weeks ago asking if it was a boy or girl and I got quite a mixed response - which is hardly surprising given the information that I have just wriiten above (mini-size and weird breed)

So - now at about 7 weeks . . . any guesses . . . male or female?

I vote female. I had a male GLW in my last lot from the hatchery and it was obvious by 6 weeks...comb and wattles were totally there.

With a small, yellow comb and no wattles at 7 weeks - I'd say pullet.

Yup, pullet - I have four mutt BLRW and two have wattles for sure at 4.5 weeks.
