So I have several chickens that are about 20 weeks old. One I'm certain is a roo, he is crowing and herds the other girls around. there is another though that is also significantly smaller than the rest (like the other roo) that I suspect is a roo also. thoughts?

Above you see two silverlace the smaller one is the one I question. All three here are the same age.

Your little one is actually a silver laced sebright, not a wyandotte :) They're a bantam breed and stay very small. The trouble with them is that roosters are hen feathered. The comb doesn't look very red and I don't see any wattle development so I'm leaning towards pullet.

    Out to pasture
Gorgeous little Sebright - what I can see of the comb, is nice and pale. I would guess pullet. If the comb reddens and gets larger, and she squats for you when you touch her back - she'll start laying soon.

Does your slwyandotte roo try to breed her? If so he is liable to really hurt her.

I'm finding most that I've gotten from our country feed store are not the breed they said.
that's ok though, I have a very pretty and diverse flock.
