OK, so what happens if you cross a SLW rooster with a BLRW hen? Do you get sex links?

No BLW male on SLW hen would be a sex linked cross.
With the SLW male on BLW female the female offspring would be silver with blue lacing or black lacing & possibly a tad brassy due to mahogany from the BLW. The male offspring would have one gold gene & one silver gene which gives a yellow colour particularly in the hackles, & possibly shoulders, the yellow effect would be enhanced by the presence of mahogany. Lacing would be blue or black.

I have done this cross many many times. The males will be black/blue laced on a mostly silver feather with some red, the wing feathers have more red. The 'male areas' like the hackle, saddle, wingbow will be nasty brassy looking. The females will basically be blue/black lacing on a silver feather.
