Last week I went to the feed store because the owner told me on the phone that he had, Silver Laced Wyandottes. I went there and was told they were out by his wife, I bought what she said was 2 Red Production hens. The last couple of red production hens I had, looked to have a reddish tint when they were 3 days old. After a few days they they looked like a goldish color with black tips. Could they be Golden Laced Wyandotts? I though they may be the silver laced at first but the color does not look right.

Does anyone have pictures of the Wyandotts about a week old?

I guess I'll be able to tell in a couple of months.

If anyone can tell what they are let me know how?

    Thank you.
