Hello from western Wyoming! I've been lurking the forum for a couple months now looking for ideas on coops and some help with raising ducks. I know it's a chicken forum, but there's a lot of good info, and a lot of helpful duck owners!
My ducks are about 4 weeks old now, and I'm starting on my duck house this weekend. I'll try to keep some good records so that I can help someone in the future as well.
I have 10 ducks, and from what I can tell so far with my very limited knowledge on the subject, is that I have 2 Pekins, 3 Khaki Campbells, and 5 Rouens. My property has a creek (duck creek in fact!) and about an acre pond with some wild ducks and geese and even the occasional Sandhill Crane. I'm excited for our new ducks, hopefully the weather warms up here in Wyoming and they can start enjoying themselves! I appreciate any tips, advice or well wishes you all have to offer! Thanks!
