Yep finally, here in mid-south side Virginia, we are getting some good snowfall. Some like, some don't.....I'm glad though that we are getting some....hehehe

When these pics were taken...it has only been snowing about 3 to 3 1/2 hours as of right now.

Here are a few pics I took.....

here is the coop and extremely large (1/2 acre) fenced in run area....

can you see the ducks? if not here they are.....hehehe and the other round object in the background is one of our turkeys.

here's hubby shoveling snow off the back porch...

Beautiful! I love to look out and admire the snow, especially in the woods. You usually don't get much there Acre?

Quote:We hardly ever get any snow here, maybe a dusting to a 1/2 inch at the most (we mainly get the ice). The last heavy snow (that I can think of) was about 7 years ago (here in this area).

i have been told that it is because we are between two rivers (Smith river and Dan river) and that the moisture follows the waters, [IMG]

I sure am glad though, that every so often we get to get a blast from the south. [IMG]

Kids are gonna build a snowman tomorrow. I'll take a pic of the handsome fella for ya. [IMG]

    Yay, Acres! Snow!

We got about 6" last night. It was fabulous (except the chickens won't get near it!). It's all melting now. [IMG]

    Enjoy the fun!
