Well yesterday was a very good day for me. My Golden Campine Porkus finally laid her first egg! I have been waiting forever. Right before the weather really changed she had started molting and thought for sure it wouldn't be until next spring that she gave me an egg but I was wrong. Yesterday went to go check for a brown egg from my RIR and Red one of my RIR was in one of the nest boxes and in the nest box next to her there was a cute little white egg!

I am so happy! [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

This pic was awhile back last summer but this is Porkus, now her comb is much bigger and redder and her body more filled out....Now she looks like a HEN !!!

Quote:Is this how your campine eggs look? I also have an EE who hasn't laid yet but I am 99% sure this is from my Golden Campine.

Anyone else have a silly Campine? [IMG]
