Yaaaay! She squatted!

Today my Buff Black Tailed Japanese hen, who normally freaks when I tried to touch her, squatted when I reached over to try to pet her!!!! She's 26 weeks old in three days! Looks like she'll be beating her cochin hatch mates to lay! I am sooooo excited! Can't wait, can't wait, caaan't waaiitt!

My orpington did that about a week or so before laying.
My Cream Legbar did that .... two weeks *after* she began laying!

Either way, it is a sign of sexual maturity and eggs are sure to be soon
