I was beginning to think Charmain wasn't going to lay eggs this year. The past few years she was hatching out her chicks in March and here it is June. I was wondering if she was maybe getting too old to lay, I have no idea her age because she is a stray that just showed up.
I noticed her missing for 2 days and went looking for her and here she is, safe and sound on my property, close to food and water but out of the mainstream.

I won't disturb her anymore but I just had to see what was underneath.

I'm psyched!

Very pretty with the blue in the face, she must be a different "strain" than mine because mine definitely doesnt have that blue.

Thanks folks and please don't be angry with me when I post tons of pictures. I know, I shouldn't count my chickens before they hatch but I do anyway.

Oh and about her breeding, it's hard telling not knowing what her lineage is seeing that she's a stray.
