Hi I just joined the forum and we will be moving and have ten acres of property so I can get chickens again! Im just researching breeds and stumbled across Yakohamas. Ive read posts from keepers and this would be a great breed to have, however I was wondering how they so in hot weather? We live in CA but the einters drop to 30s and summer is typically in the 100s. How do you think they would handle this type of qeather? Also how would they do if they shared a coop with silkies and millie fleurs? We havent moved or built our coop yet. ( buildin a new coop as the one we have on that property is falling apart and Id rather it be closer to the house) Thanks so much!
