Yawning chicks

    well, they are outside pecking around, so they shouldn't be bored

    It may be that they're adjusting the food in their crops; I remember mine doing that.

    My almost full grown chickens do that occasionally and so the the old hens. It's just something they do from time to time. I don't think it means anything in particular.
