I had set a few Nankin eggs under my broody that was driving me insane, and they just hatched this morning. So adorable.....why is it, I am so amazed EVERY TIME chicks hatch? Is it the miracle of life? Hard to imagine, a cute little fluffball that will someday be an amazing bird pops right out of that eggshell. aagh, the beauty of life.

Congratulations! i am always amazed too at the miracle of life. Incredible how they're all folded up inside that egg, then it cracks open and they unfurl.

my darn camera battery needs to be replaced.....it wont hold a charge. I will try to get some up tomorrow, they are so cute and so tiny, I can't wait to share.

i've never heard of nankins. They're very pretty.
