Wow, I'm very happy. This is so far the only bright spot in a very bad day. We've got 8 Red Sex Links. They've been laying for about a month now. They will be 24 weeks tomorrow. Today is the very first day I have collected 8 eggs, from our 8 hens. I'm so proud of the girls. They finally did it, in hot weather to boot. [IMG]

Not sure how to add a pic so I tried putting this on here instead.

How do you add a picture directly into a message?

Those are some very nice looking eggs [IMG]

Congrats! I can't wait until all of mine start laying -- so far only one is laying but they are all still young (16-17 weeks).

Thanks. I have been impressed with how quickly the size of our eggs have been increasing. I would say all of our eggs are about the size of the large "grade A" you get from the store. Some are bigger yet. They were much much smaller when they first started to lay.
