Well FINALLY my standard cochin is broody! She has been sitting on some duck eggs for the past two days! She has come out everyday in the morning to eat and drink and back on the eggs she goes. Every morning when my pekin lays an egg I slip it under her. SHe has help from two of my banty cochins. They are all on the nest. Just what I wanted her to do so I didnt have to buy an incubator.....But at least I can do more hatches. WHat I can fit under her and what I can out in the bator. Shes working off her feed!
