Yay, my marans are hatching!

I have 4 out, 4 pipped and 1 doing nothing, yet. I also have 4 more that are on day 20, so hoping to see a pip tonight from one of them

Actually, I just went to pull the shell of the most recently hatched(to keep humidity from going to high and compromise the ones due tomorrow) and pulled the only non-pipped to check it out real quick. So glad I did, it pipped very low and had no where to go in the carton, so I just laid it down on it's side

LOL, actually I got some from Mergmet and the few due tomorrow came from a generous member that I'm not sure wants their name mentioned, will have to find out.

I have 4 bc marans hatched, 3 bc pipped, 1 birchen pipped and 1 blue copper pipped, all from Mergmet.
The other 4 due tomorrow are also bc marans from someone that has Bev Davis birds. I will try to get pics tonight. So far all have feathered legs.

OOOH I want blue copper's so bad. I did an internet search and couldn't come up with anybody that had them.

i saw a very nice blue copper roo today. The seller was going to put him on eggbid soon. He is young still, just coming into his teen look, but if you see him online and wonder about him, he is big, all her birds looked healthy and I WANT HIM TOO! Tell you what, if you like him online, and want some eggs from him, we can go halfsies on him. I will send you some eggs sired by him out of my BC hens from bayhorsebonne.

Man I still got 10 days left! I can't wait I bought 18 from a guy over the hill for 5.50 cause I wanted them for hatching.(me and my big mouth!!!)
