Yay! We got our first egg!

We got our chickens in 2009, and I STILL remember the excitement of that first egg. I worried that maybe my husband was playing a joke on me and had planted it (he hadn't). Ours was from an EE, and was a lovely blue-green color. My brown egg girls soon followed suit... Congratulations on that perfect first egg!

All five of ours are brown layers, so I'm unsure of who laid it. But it's still awesome, I was starting to worry they weren't gonna start until spring.
