Went out this morning to let my girls out and one was in the nesting box. Had a feeling last night by the way she was acting we were gonna get our first egg today. Well i started my morning ritual of feeding watering etc looking in on her occasionally . Then went back over to the coop, chicken gone and in the box [IMG]

Quote:But of course! [IMG] That's just what you should do with the early eggs. Pullet eggs are usually considered too small for hatching. They are great for eating and baking, though. A small egg is my fave for when a recipe needs half an egg!
