Today I found the first egg of many from our EE I bought from a friend for 5 Bucks. He said it should be laying soon and now it is. So both of the chickens he sold me are laying. It is a little bit small but not too small. I will post pics in a while. I was hoping that she would lay some grren eggs!

My EE isn't laying yet and all the signs are pointing towards it being several weeks away, but I can't wait to see what color her eggs are!

    Congrats on the green egg!

Lucky you! I'm waiting for my 4 EE's to lay...a couple are showing definite signs, but no green eggs yet. [IMG]

One of the EE's I have is younger but could be starting to lay eggs anytime too. I can't wait to see photos of your green egg!!! [IMG]

They all look perfect! Congrats on your first green egg! Green eggs ROCK! I only had one EE last summer, and I saved them all up until I had an entire dozen:

The green eggs are from an EE and the brown ones are from a RIR/RIW cross

congrats!! I love the look of the green aggs. We got one about 4 days ago, then none...I didnt know what was going on till today when we went to get the hay our of the garage to put in the run (its a sloppy mess right now) and to put in the nest boxes since today was clean coop day. Well inside the bag of hay I found a nest with 3 green eggs and 2 white eggs....looks like a few of the girls think the garage is there private coop.
