Some, but not all have extra toes I sure hadn't thought of Silkies

Yeah they don't seem to have crests so it's strange

is probably something obvious I can't put my finger on at the moment.

Probably hatchery-quality Silkies.

Good eyes. We shall see. Yes, I catch the hatchery quality note, but neighbor was not capable of caring for them, they needed to be rescued. I think they will be fine pets

If I had to bet money I'd say buff silkies. What state where they bought in? If you find out what hatchery they came from it might be a little easier to compare them.
