Recently, my Dominique hen, Sweet, has started having runny yellow diarrhea. She is 3 1/2 years old and I have changed nothing in our coop recently. She seems to be eating and drinking fine. I just weighed her today and she is at 4 1/2 pounds. I'll record her weight in a few days. I'm gonna give her some vinegar and yogurt, and I will do some more yogurt. She seems that her vent feathers aren't really falling out and her crop is not swelling. What should I do?

G’Day from down under Nancy112 [IMG] Welcome!

I am sorry to hear that Sweet might be unwell.

Sadly, I am not an expert when it comes to what ails chickens and I recommend posting your questions on the Emergencies & Diseases Forum:

I have a couple of poop charts bookmarked which I refer to and which may be of some help:

I hope you enjoy BYC. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun. Unlike non chicken loving friends, family and colleagues, BYC’ers never tire of stories or pictures that feature our feathered and non feathered friends [IMG]
