First of all, HELLO and thanks for all your info! I have been reading lots of your posts and info..it has been very helpful!
I am a first time chicken/pullet owner so go easy on me. I am not sure how old they are, but they should be close to laying. I have 2 RIR's and 4 barred rocks. They have been on laying mash for about a week.
I have just noticed some stuff that looks exactly like an egg yolk on the ground in the run. Is this a process they go through before laying or do I have a problem?
