I noticed my silver wyandotte standing with a gaping mouth and opening and closing it as if in some level of discomfort. I picked her up and looked in her mouth, and on one upper side, on the roof of her mouth there looks to be a scaly yellowish growth of some sort.
She seems to be eating and drinking fine so far as I know. I only noticed her acting odd today but this has clearly been there for a bit of time.
Can anyone shed any light on what this could be?

    Thanks

Yes....after reading some more and seeing a few posts I tend to think so. Going to remedy tomorrow and hope for the best.
We're taking the copper sulfate route in the water for all three girls. Has anyone ever tried this treatment?
