YES! They are MOLTING!!!

    As some of you may know...I had too many roos for a while and some of my hens were getting bald...well,they are FINALLY molting! [​IMG]
    I know most people hate molting but I am happy....my hens will not be balding anymore! YAY! I am so happy [​IMG]

    I had a similar thing last year with one of my hens looking like she was ready for the oven and a few other of the roos favourites looking very moth eaten. I was so excited when they molted and felt like I had 'new' hens with all their pretty new brightly coloured feathers! Had enough other hens covering the egg side of things to feed our family so no hard feelings either [​IMG]
