I lost a darling little bantam Polish hen. She was cuckoo in coloration, and very petite. I just loved her. I'm feeling kinda blue.....

Looking for my BYC hugs, I guess.......[IMG]

Don't know what got her.......She was just gone.

    SAD!

Thanks everyone. I bawled like a baby, and my husband thought I was nuts. I just couldn't help myself.

Quote:Soo glad I'm not the only one......Her name was Tiny. I kind of think she was sort of a runt because she really was just a handful. I was canning dill pickles in the house, and I kept looking out the window to check on the flock. (I've got an ideal setting for free ranging). Skies were clear, I hadn't seen a hawk or predator anywhere.......Should have followed my instincts....But I know how much they like the freedom to flap around and run, and eat the grass......

She was really cute. Thanks for the kind words and asking about her.
