    Hi!

I'm from Vancouver Island, British Columbia, and just starting to plan my first coop! I have experience with other peoples' chickens, but this'll be the first time I get my very own.

I'm looking at Swedish Flower Hens or Spitzhaubens (or maybe even game birds?) at the moment - but it's hard to make decisions when there's just so many interesting breeds..

Was hoping to pick up a few tips, tricks, suggestions, and insights from you lovely experts here at BYC :) Would also LOVE to know more about the BYC community here on the Island, if anyone happens to have any leads!
